Exam Dates and Details
The RBI Grade B Phase-I online examination is scheduled for September 8, 2024, specifically for the General category. Meanwhile, the exams for the Department of Economic and Policy Research (DEPR) and the Department of Statistics and Information Management (DSIM) will be held on September 14, 2024. The RBI aims to fill 94 vacancies across various Grade B officer posts, including Generalist, DEPR, and DSIM under the RBI Grade B Recruitment 2024 drive.
How to Download the RBI Grade B Admit Card 2024
Follow these steps to download your admit card for the RBI Grade B Preliminary Examination:
- Visit the RBI Careers Website: Go to the official website of RBI Careers at opportunities.rbi.org.in.
- Navigate to Call Letters: Click on the ‘Current Vacancies’ tab and then select ‘Call Letter’ from the dropdown menu.
- Locate the Admit Card Link: On the next page, look for the link titled ‘Admit Card, Other Guidelines, and Information Handout for Phase-I Examination for Direct Recruitment for the Post of Officers in Grade ‘B’ (DR)—General—Panel Year 2024’.
- Login: Click on the link and enter your login credentials, including your registration number and password.
- Download the Admit Card: Your RBI Grade B Admit Card 2024 will be displayed on the screen. Carefully review all the details and download the admit card.
- Print the Admit Card: Print a copy of your admit card, as it is mandatory to bring a hard copy on the day of the examination.
Important Instructions for the Examination Day
Candidates must carry a valid photo identity proof (such as an Aadhar card, PAN card, or driving license) in original, along with a photocopy of the same, stapled to the hall ticket. The admit card and photocopy of the ID proof must be handed over to the invigilator during the examination.
RBI Grade B Recruitment 2024: Exam Pattern
The preliminary exam consists of 200 questions worth a total of 200 marks. The sections include:
- General Awareness: 80 questions
- Quantitative Aptitude: 30 questions
- English Language: 30 questions
- Reasoning: 60 questions
Candidates have a total of two hours to complete the exam.
For those who clear the preliminary stage, the Mains examination will follow. The Mains exam includes three papers:
- Economics and Social Issues: This paper includes both objective and subjective questions.
- General Finance and Management: This paper also includes both objective and subjective questions.
- English Written Skills: This is a subjective paper designed to test the candidate’s writing abilities.
